Highland Outdoor Adventures’ winter snow sports programme is fully comprehensive and suits all ages and abilities. We have a wide range of winter skills courses and winter climbing courses on offer across the Scottish Highlands – including the Cairngorms and the Nevis Range. Whatever your experience and ability levels, let us tailor a snow sports winter adventure for you on the snow and ice!

Most of our snow sports activities occur around Aviemore & the Cairngorms region using the best venue in Scotland for any winter skills or winter climbing courses – Cairngorm Mountain. Situated just a couple of miles from Aviemore, you have the luxury to be able to drive half way up the mountain minimising any walk-ins and maximising learning time on the snow/ice.  We offer guided days, developmental courses and learn to lead climbing courses – so why not take a look below!

We do of course also offer snow sports winter climbing and mountaineering days in other crags and mountains including many options to climb on the famous north face of Ben Nevis including one of our most popular winter activities a guided ascent of the Uk’s best winter climb Tower Ridge.

Any Winter Climbing or Mountaineering courses will be delivered by WMCI’s, BMG’s or appropriately insured and mentored WMCI Trainees.
