And all the technical equipment like harnesses, helmets, ropes etc is provided by us.

The course is led by experienced guides and instructors (members of AMI so you know they are certified as amongst the best in the whole world holding the highest possible awards for climbing & abseiling) who provide one-on-one instruction and support throughout the program. The Highlands of Scotland offer a variety of climbing and abseiling locations (the one we aim to use for this is Kingussie Crags), each with its own set of challenges and rewards, making it an ideal location to learn and develop new skills.

Introduction To Climbing & Abseiling Itinerary

Here is a standard itinerary for a introduction to climbing and abseiling course in the Highlands of Scotland, beginning with a meeting in Kingussie at 10:00:

Day 1:

• Meet and greet your instructor and any other participants on the course in Kingussie at 10:00
• Introduction to equipment and safety procedures
• Basic climbing techniques and practice on beginner-level routes

• Review of the day and wrap-up

• Travel insurance. (We are insured for all our trips, but we recommend everyone has their own travel insurance as well.)
